The Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre is now up and running! Located in Inglewod it homes brand new 10 x 50m lanes and 4 x 25 m lanes in a combined water body – the largest public outdoor pool in the southern hemisphere!

This rejuvenation transformed the well-beloved Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre into a modern facility. Features include new AI anti-drowning technology, shade sales, water access ramps with wheelchairs, submersible swim wall, and, a revamped concourse with pool-side seating and a playground for the little ones.

A fun and exciting element you will find at this facility is public artwork by artists Chris Nixon and Andrew Frazer, which is incorporated into the spectator seating benches that surround the pools.

The completion of this $14.5 million redevelopment is a significant milestone! Since 1967 Terry Tyzack Aquatic Cente has been well loved by the community and now they have a new high quality facility they can continue to enjoy.
