The Northam Aquatic Centre shines brightly as a symbol of community unity and vitality. DP(A) took on the challenge of seamlessly integrating the existing dry-sports center with a suite of new amenities. These additions include an expansive external 50-meter pool, a covered grandstand for spectators, a leisure pool for relaxation, dedicated learn-to-swim facilities, exhilarating waterslides, spacious changerooms, a welcoming clubhouse, and extensive external enhancements such as ample parking, a playground, and lush landscaping. Furthermore, enhancements to the entry space, featuring administrative and kiosk facilities, were meticulously crafted. DP(A) demonstrates their mastery in design and construction through innovative techniques such as fully reinforced concrete and a blend of tilt-concrete, steel framing, and insulated panel construction methods. The result is a marvel of economic ingenuity.
