The MARC project involves both refurbishment of current amenities and the construction of new ones. Refurbishment efforts include upgrading the existing 25-meter indoor pool and leisure pool halls, as well as the demolition and reconstruction of a leisure pool, spa area, and facade enhancements to existing structures. New constructions comprise an outdoor 50-meter pool with covered spectator seating, updated club rooms and a car park, along with refreshed change rooms and minor landscaping enhancements. The design strategy focuses on retaining most existing structures over the indoor pools while revitalising their appearance with features like alpolic finishes. Notably, there's an emphasis on creating an engaging and interactive play area within the leisure pool, tailored for children of all ages. The modern design incorporates vibrant colors throughout its facade and structural elements, illuminating the landscape as a striking focal point after dusk.
