The Terry Tyzack Aquatic Centre redevelopment is a state-of-the-art facility designed to support a wide range of sporting and leisure activities for the local community. The previous facility faced significant challenges due to outdated components and compliance issues. The newly upgraded centre now features a 50m x 10-lane lap pool and a 25m x 4-lane outdoor pool with DDA ramp access and a submersible swim wall. Additional improvements include a new plant room with water filtration and control systems, upgraded pool concourse paving, repairs to the Learn to Swim guttering and pool retiling, as well as new LED external light poles and enhanced landscaping with BBQ areas. This redevelopment aims to create a modern, inclusive space that fosters an active lifestyle for the community.
