DP(A) was tasked with reviewing and enhancing a series of sporting changeroom designs. The outcome? Modern changerooms boasting aesthetic appeal, optimised value, and spatial efficiency. The redesigned building features a lantern roof structure, maximising natural light and ventilation while prioritising crime prevention and security. The facade showcases exposed masonry blockwork and compressed fibre cement sheeting, complemented by sporting colors. Furthermore, the context was refined to ensure optimal accessibility, integrating dual user ramps, urban design considerations, and synchronised bleacher seating, all beneath a cantilevered shelter.
