The JG Epis Centre, situated in Leonora, is a distinguished facility housing various State Government agencies and Not-For-Profit Community-Based Organisations. Serving as a community hub, it offers diverse spaces, including administration offices, accommodations for visiting medical and health consultants, a community resources center, an art exhibition area, video conferencing facilities, and a toy library. Constructed using concrete wall panels, Blackbutt timber, and spotted gum rafters, the building prioritises durability and boasts exceptional insulation properties, shielding it from the harsh sun. The resulting structure is a visual delight, harmonising with and celebrating the Northern Goldfields setting. Notably, the externally enclosed garden space is captivating, featuring perforated roof sheeting that casts intricate light patterns onto its surroundings.
